Designed to create a tough barrier, these steel Shark Teeth strips can be applied to the feeder legs—lining the inside to prevent hogs from rubbing or bumping, and the outside to stop raccoons from climbing and livestock from pushing. For optimal protection, use two strips per leg and corner them to block raccoons from finding a way around.
You can also break the strips into smaller 6-inch pieces to secure the top and sides of your control or timer box. Placing strips on your feeder lid helps deter raccoons and large birds from roosting or leaving droppings. The flexible design allows the strips to easily bend and fit both round and square legs.
