Rocker Stopper Boat Stabilizer by Davis Instruments is a smart, practical solution to reduce the annoying side-to-side rocking motion when your boat is anchored. Lightweight yet durable, each Rocker Stopper is molded from high-impact, virtually indestructible styrene and is completely unaffected by saltwater. They're easy to deploy or retrieve, and when not in use, the units conveniently nest together for compact storage.
To use, simply create a string of Rocker Stoppers spaced about 44 cm (18") apart, attaching a 5–10 lb weight (like a mushroom anchor) to the bottom. Hang one string off each side of your boat, ensuring they're fully submerged. For most boats up to 36 ft, four Rocker Stoppers per side are recommended. They're also great for drift fishing (used with little or no weight) to slow down your drift, or at the end of a dock to reduce movement.
Each stabilizer measures 33 cm (14") in diameter, and they work best with 10 mm (3/8") braided or 3-stranded nylon line.
