JERGON SACHA is a sustainable under story plant, found plentifully beneath the Amazon Rainforest canopy, which produces bright orange-red seeds that resemble berries.

JERGON SACHAis considered a "signature plant" in that the appearance of its stem resembles the poisonous jararaca snake (also called jergon sacha in the Amazon), with one of its primary, traditional uses as an anti-venin and herbal antidote for snake bites.

It is concurrently used for a variety of infectious bites and as a vulnerary (wound healer) including sting rays, spiders, venomous and biting insects, incidents of poisoning, and for virulent skin diseases such as scabies (skin mites), skin sores and mange.
